Our Mission
Extraordinary Young People (EXYP) is a Christian Organization that exists to serve the underserved, the broken (in heart and spirit) and the forgotten.  Our focus is to serve Native American youth and their families on reservations, villages and reserves.
At the Spectrum Youth Center in Warm Springs, Oregon

  • New programs and continued programs are planned for the Fall. Gang Prevention programs are at the top of the list, with so many youth on the reservation involved in gang activities.
  • Starting in late fall, we will be providing food boxes for the families of many of the children who attend. This will be in coordination with Frontier Missions.
In Portland, Oregon
  • Exciting News!!! Our new $1000 club brought many new donors. See our article under "Giving/Fundraising"
  • Painted PonyFall Banquet, October 24th. This will be the start of a new event for us. EXYP’s Painted Ponies, The Nine Tribes of Oregon will be the theme of our banquet. As most know, Native Americans in different areas of the country painted their horses, dressing them in paint, feathers, and other ornaments in preparation for special ceremonial events. We are taking that idea and building around it to bring a new concept to our fall fundraising efforts. There will be fabulous art for sale from a variety of talented artists. Space at the banquet will be limited, so you're encouraged to invite your friends early. Table sponsorships are available at $600 per table of eight, or $75 per plate. It’s expected that there will be an early sell-out of space available because of the high level of publicity planned for the event. As always, we ask that you open your heart to help us serve these needy, underserved children. Call 360.213.0671 to make your reservation.

Our pledge to stay: How you can get involved in EXYP's ministry
